TapHere is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to support a contract at the Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC PAC) facility in San Diego, CA. As a Software Engineer, you will be providing software development updates, maintenance, and QA services for the baseline components, including the Engine, Dashboard, Web Server, and Installer applications,
Responsibilities include:
• Systems requirements development and allocation
• Managing software specifications
• Developing code in C and C++ with applicable requirements documentation
• Support the development and execution of test plans for software system verification and acceptance, and Developing associated documentation
• Analyzing software systems, codes, and software modules to resolve issues with software functionality and/or performance
• Supporting the integration of, and transition to new hardware and software systems
• Tech writing and editing

| Experience Required: |
MUST HAVE an Active Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, Information Technology, mathematics, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the analysis, design and development of software systems, including hands-on work in system test and integration
• Relevant experience in C++ coding
• Prior experience in one or more of the following concentration areas: JAVA, ORACLE, LINUX
• Must be familiar with message processing and data translation programing methodologies
