Description:

TapHere is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Software Integration Engineer to join our dynamic development team in supporting a Government customer. The team is building a large-scale enterprise application in the national security space domain using web technologies, distributed computation, storage frameworks, and sophisticated, cutting-edge domain analytics, with the system hosted on virtualized and cloud-computing platforms.

Compensation package includes base salary and benefits. Base salary depends on requirements for education/degree, skills, and professional experience. Annualized base salary range for this position is: $90K and up

Experience Required:

Essential Functions:
• Define and execute software engineering activities including design, integration, development, maintenance, testing, benchmarking and capacity planning.
• Support software development team by creating models, simulations, and analysis tools to support national security space analysis activities.
• Perform technical planning, design & generation of test data, system integration, verification and validation, and support test activities.
• Participate in a development team that uses agile methodologies combined with modern DevSecOps software practices
• The ideal candidate will have outstanding problem solving and critical thinking skills with desire to continuously learn and apply new skills and technologies.

MUST HAVE an Active TS/SCI security clearance

Skills Required:

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering plus experience with Web application systems development, Java, and/or C#.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Gradle, or similar DevSecOps technologies.
• Experience with building microservice appilictions for Docker/Kubernetes or similar containerization platforms.
• Experience packaging applications using native OS packaging formats such at rpm, deb, msi, etc.
• Familiarity with AWS, vSphere, Openstack, or similar virtualization infrastructure platforms.

• Familiarity with Agile software engineering methodologies.
• Experience working with JSON and XML files often used for data exchange and API definitions.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
