Responsible for developing high quality training materials for in-person student training as well as on-line training aids. Training materials are primarily in the form of PowerPoint, videos, and Computer Based Training.
Create multimedia training materials to include video shorts (“you-tube like” videos). Adobe Captive, Adobe Audition, and Camtasia are the tools available to the project for video. Photoshop is available for graphics. Experience with these tools is preferred, but experience on a similar video tools is acceptable as this experience allows a short ramp up time.
Create and maintain supporting training documents, such as user guides, as the product being trained continues to develop.
Provide professional classroom training 4 to 8 times a year. The candidate is expected to implement sound classroom management techniques, teach complex topics, and obtain student assessments for continued improvement.
Keep training material well organized and up to date. Coordinate with other members of the project team to post training materials at various locations for student and internal team access.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
May act as a lead for limited aspects of a project.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
MUST HAVE an Active TS/SCI security clearance and wiliness to take CI Poly
Preferred Additional Skills:
Familiar enough with html to post materials to web sites.
Master’s degree in a related discipline such as education and graphical design, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work/military experience.
Capable of understanding complex software applications to include those with significant math models “under the hood.” The candidate is NOT required to perform any complex math, but must be able to understand the inputs, outputs, and effects at the user-level of the application.
