TapHere is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented System Engineer II to join our team in the Annapolis Junction Area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Support systems engineering principles throughout the system’s lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirement.
• Support interactions with the Government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
• Support the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process Area.
• Contribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documents.
• Maintain the organization's systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
• Develop tests and simulations to ensure the systems work as intended.
• Leveraging Python, C, Linux.

| Experience Required: |
• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience
• Automation experience; Researching and designing automation technology; Creating a connection between information inputs, controllers, and outputs.
• Experience with configuration management and tracking tools such as Ansible, Terraform, puppet, chef, GitLab.
• Experience in VM Ware.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Focuses on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation.
• Knowledge and experience in working Development Operations; automate and integrate the processes between software development and IT teams.
• Experience with use case development, requirements derivation, developing technical project artifacts.
