TapHere is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cyber Developer / Vulnerability Engineer to join the team in the Annapolis Junction, MD.
The position desires the Software Engineer with Development experience and knowledge of operating software programs, configuring hardware devices and develop critical procedural steps. The position seeks strong knowledge in a Linux environment developing and managing code requiring hands on experience with Linux internals along with Python (interpreted language) and C (compiled language). The position requires knowledge with applications to complete tasks with underlying systems that run devices and control networks.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Cyber Security and development expertise to design, test, implement, and manage safeguards against cyberattacks of the system to include:
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve vulnerabilities within existing security systems
• Work directly with penetration testers to perform penetration tests and assess potential security problems.
• Develop organization wide security measures
• Prepare performance reports and communicate system status to keep users and leadership informed
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards, attending educational workshops for increased technical knowledge, and reviewing publications

| Experience Required: |
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• 5 years of position-relevant work experience.
• DoD 8570.01-m IAM Level III or IASAE Level III.
• Experience with embedded system vulnerability development
