Description:

TapHere is seeking an experienced Test & Evaluation Engineer III, SR in Stafford, VA.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for knowing DoD 5000 requirements documentation (e.g., Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capabilities Development Document (CDD), Capabilities Production Document (CPD)); Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), and Acquisition Program Baseline (APB); and other applicable program documents as required.
• Review and commenting on Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) parameters and specifications related to whether they are appropriate for the system being procured across the acquisition cycle and whether they are testable and measurable.
• Develop and provide the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and others, recommending an operational test strategy, what operational events should be conducted during each acquisition phase, and why those events are necessary to reduce risk (cost, schedule, or performance) to the program.
• Develop modifications to the TEMP that address the approved operational test strategy.
• Determine Critical Operational Issue (COIs), Measure(s) of Effectiveness (MOEs), Measure(s) of Suitability (MOSs), and Measure(s) of Performance (MOPs), and the recourses required to plan, perform, analyze, and report on operational events during all acquisition phases.
• Develop solutions to calibration systems problems to perform data analysis and develops and uses data processing tools.
• Provide engineering leadership and oversight for software testing.
• Interface with customers to understand test objectives, develop test strategies, and collect and analyze data to satisfy customer needs.
• Develop test automation for integration testing across the System of Systems platforms, systems, and interfaces; efficiency improvement actions (including lights-out testing strategies); and maintains test systems software and operational databases.
• Supervise and mentor subordinate project and staff.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM field 5 years of position-relevant work experience.
• Experience with probability and statistics.
• Experience with T&E event development, management, data validation and verification, and reporting.
• Experience with developing Test Plans, including test use cases and reports.
• Experience with software testing. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Recent and relevant technical experience in DoD T&E activities.
• DoD 5000 series familiarity.
• Active Clearance: TS/SCI

Skills Required:

Preferred Skills (not limited to):
• Master's degree in STEM field.
• Certified T&E Professional (CTEP)
