TapHere is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented DevOps Software Engineer to join our dynamic development team in supporting a Government customer. The engineer will be working with a large-scale enterprise application using web technologies, distributed computation, and cutting-edge domain analytics, with the system hosted on AWS cloud-computing platforms. The DevOps Software Engineer works both independently with little supervision as well as engage with a team to achieve overall project objectives.
The DevOps Software Engineer duties include:
• Define and execute software engineering activities including design, integration, development, maintenance, testing, benchmarking and capacity planning.
• Support software development teams by identifying additional services or technologies that will benefit the environment, and creating and presenting proofs of concept to a varied audience of stakeholders.
• Perform technical planning, design & generation of test data, system integration, verification and validation, and support test activities.
• Participate in a development team that uses agile methodologies combined with modern DevSecOps software practices
• The ideal candidate will have outstanding problem solving and critical thinking skills with desire to continuously learn and apply new skills and technologies.

Experience Required: |
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification or the ability to obtain one within ~30 days
MUST HAVE an Active TS/SCI security clearance

Skills Required: |
2+ years' experience with Agile & DevOps methodology and culture.
2+ years' experience with web application systems development, Javascript, Angular, Node, etc.
2+ years' experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or C2S.
2+ years’ experience with Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Gradle, or similar DevSecOps technologies.
2+ years' experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
2+ years' experience with standard automated deployment type tools (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.).
Experience building microservice apps for Docker/Kubernetes or similar containerization platforms.
Experience working with JSON and XML files often used for data exchange and API definitions.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
MUST HAVE an Active TS/SCI security clearance
