TapHere! Technology is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented System Administrator (SA) to join our dynamic development team in supporting a Government customer. The team is building a large-scale enterprise application using web technologies, distributed computation and storage frameworks, and sophisticated, cutting-edge domain analytics, with the system hosted on virtualized and cloud-computing platforms. The SA will work both independently with little supervision as well as engage with a team.
The SA will maintain operations of multi-user computer systems, virtual computer systems, COTS software products, and perform system administration within the SA Team. The SA Team is responsible for monitoring and correcting system performance issues, backing up and restoring files, patching system and operating system software, maintaining software licenses and assisting the Information Assurance (IA) Team with account management and system vulnerability management. The SA will work closely with the customer and peer personnel to accomplish these responsibilities. The SA will also provide on-the-job training on system configuration, assist in deploying software/hardware deliveries, support special projects, and assist operational crews and contractor teams in resolving system and network issues. The SA will assist the IA team by providing access to system logs, instructions for monitoring user accounts, and identifying and responding to security issues/incidents.

Qualifications:
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline and 2+ years of relevant experience
• Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance required.
Compensation package includes base salary and benefits. Base salary depends on requirements for education/degree, skills, and professional experience. Annualized base salary range for this position is: $85K and up

• Red Hat Linux, Microsoft Windows and database admin experience preferably with PostgreSQL, MySQL and/or MongoDB is a plus;
• Familiar with IBM AIX and Cisco IOS;
• Knowledge/experience with CI/CD pipeline systems, virtualization, and software environment developments.
