Description:

TapHere! Technology is looking for a self-starting, team-oriented Sr. DevSecOps Engineer to join and lead our dynamic development team in supporting a Government customer. The team is building a large-scale enterprise application using web technologies, distributed computation and storage frameworks, and sophisticated build automation technology, with the system hosted on virtualized and cloud-computing platforms. The Sr. DevSecOps Engineer will work both independently with little supervision as well as engage with a team.

Responsibilities of the Sr. DevSecOps Engineer:

• Providing leadership and collaborating with other engineers to plan, design and develop the DevSecOps environment that includes cohesive CI/CD pipelines
• Supporting the entire Software Development Lifecycle with an emphasis on build and release management via automation
• Analyzing continuously the DevSecOps environment for technical and process improvements (e.g. integration of security measures, faster security and software updates, improved automation, reduced glitches and software failures, etc.)
• Deploying updates and fixes, providing technical support, investigating, and resolving technical and network issues
• Promoting the DevSecOps culture

Experience Required:

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline and 5+ years of experience with Java development
• 3+ years’ experience in a DevSecOps role
• Experience with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks
• Experience with standard automated deployment type tools (Ansible, Jenkins, GitRunner, Terraform)
• Active SECRET security clearance

Compensation package includes base salary and benefits. Base salary depends on requirements for education/degree, skills, and professional experience. Annualized base salary range for this position is: $85K and up

• Experience developing software using the Agile/Scrum methodology and tools:
-- Tracking and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence

• Experience with virtualization software such as Docker
• Orchestration service such as Docker Swarm or Kubernetes
• Experience with artifact package management tools such as Nexus, Artifactory
