We are looking for a self-motivated, high energy, team player with excellent financial and communication skills to be part of a team that provides project management, administrative, budget financial management, security, facility and technical support services for Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Core Program Office support. The preferred candidate will ensure proper planning and management/execution of financial and business initiatives in accordance with prescribed higher authority directives. The preparation, analyzing, and revision of all budget submissions for developmental programs, Operational Safety Improvement Program (OSIP) items, Reliability and Maintainability improvements, Program Related Engineering (PRE), NPRE, Program Related Logistics (PRL), FMS and any additional items required to meet program objectives are completed by the Business Financial Management team. The successful candidate will have the ability to work both in a collaborative team environment as well as independently on quick reaction projects. Duties include:
- Conducts quantitative analysis
- Builds and manipulate Microsoft Excel spreadsheets
- Provides financial and/or accounting support in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) Process
- Supports program/project personnel with financial tracking; spend plans, budget formulation, budget execution, financial data calls and overall financial support
- Collects and analyze data utilizing Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) to upload data and track project and program funding
- Enters and reconciles Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT) data
- Applies policies and procedures for planning and execution
- Maintain knowledge of all funding types. Provide technical support in absence of team lead.
